You had me at Hello!

Wow - this past weekend was a winner! 

The weather here in NC was beautiful (71degrees! Couldn't you people up North just DIE!!!) It was Awesome!  I had the best, most relaxing time with my husband I can recall.  What a great way to kick off February! (or shut down January -depending on how you want to look at it)

Asheville was great. I poked around some of the cutie pie shops in Biltmore Village. For those of you that have never been it makes for a fun afternoon. I regretted not getting a photo of the McDonalds. Its unlike most any McDonalds I've ever seen.  The kids had a super fun time with the Grands and just wait until you see some of the gems I scouted out at the Antique barn.  This place is ridiculous! I was gasping at every turn. 



They keep winter hours and close promptly @ 5 o'clock



Located really close to the Biltmore Estate is a somewhat industrial looking area with warehouses and giant barns (for lack of a better word).  They are a antiquers dream, but I find the prices are full-on retail. I've found a few things that I picked up for what I think was an amazing bargain however there are some serious investment pieces here too.

YOU HAD ME AT HELLO!



Right when I got to the front door I ran into this giant coffee table. Its got great detail with all of those rusty bolts on top.
 I visited it 2 or 3 times before leaving for the day. Alas - it had to stay put.

Hi there little darlin' -- this puppy dog guy is just down right adorable.  Look at the old key around his neck!

This should go in my bathroom -- right above my bath tub -- its so pretty!



I'm going to have to try to reproduce this color of green on something soon. These doors need a house built around them!



I'm sure when I say this someone will cringe, but I think painting this tangerine or robbins egg blue would be amazing.

I can't decide if I love these bins more or the decorative metal scrap inside better.

The paint, the finishes! Its all so fun!  I'm loving the table in the photo above and the GIGANTIC window with the diamond pattern is so FABULOUS!!!!
